Here we are again. Another week, another playlist. You know the deal by now: The playlist keeps updating until Sunday, so keep checking back for new tunes. Also, follow me on Spotify!

BADBADNOTGOOD, Thundercat, Steely Dan, St. Germain all feature on a decidedly jazz-informed playlist this week, but also, more Tragically Hip! (in honour of their humanitarian award, presented at the Junos this week)

This one's a decently diverse cross-section of genres (so far anyways, we'll see where that ends up by Sunday evening). A few "repeat offenders" from past playlists. I'm noticing that to be a bit of a trend.

Brain decided this week was all about grunge, alt-rock, and metal. I am simply a slave to its whims, so here's a playlist full of grunge, alt-rock, and metal (with a few electronic tracks thrown in because my brain is also fickle as hell).

I've noticed something curious as I go about creating these playlists: Each playlist ends up being around 4 hours long. In case you thought this was by design, it isn't. I literally seem to have about 4 hours worth of music tumbling around in my brain every week. Go figure.

For whatever reason, there's more electronic stuff on the playlist this week. There's some new stuff on here too, stuff I might consider writing separate articles about soon.
